GrabTicket ("we", "us", "the platform") operates an online bus ticket marketplace connecting travellers with independent bus operators ("operators"). By creating an account, searching trips, or completing a booking, you agree to these Terms of Service.
1. Our role
We provide the technology platform for search, booking, and payment. Each journey is operated by the bus company shown at checkout. Operator-specific rules (baggage, boarding, refunds) apply in addition to these terms.
- We are not the carrier unless clearly stated on your ticket.
- Disputes about service quality should be raised with the operator; we will help where reasonable.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate name, email, and contact details.
- Keep your password confidential and notify us of suspected unauthorised access.
- One traveller account may be used across all operators on the marketplace.
- Operator staff must use their company login, not a passenger account, for operational access.
3. Bookings & tickets
- A booking is confirmed only after successful payment (or approved pay-later flow, if offered).
- Check departure time, route, and passenger names before paying — changes may be limited after confirmation.
- E-tickets and booking references must be presented for boarding as required by the operator.
- Seat selection, when offered, is subject to availability and operator policies.
4. Prices & payments
- Prices shown include the fare and any platform fees disclosed at checkout.
- Payment processing may take a few minutes; do not close the browser until confirmation is shown.
- Failed or reversed payments may cancel the reservation automatically.
- Promotional codes or discounts apply only when valid and displayed at checkout.
5. Cancellations & refunds
Refund eligibility depends on the operator's policy and how far in advance you cancel. Where refunds are approved:
- Refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible.
- Platform service fees may be non-refundable unless required by law or stated otherwise.
- No-shows are generally not refundable.
6. Schedule changes
- Operators may change departure times, vehicles, or routes for safety or operational reasons.
- We will endeavour to notify you of material changes using the contact details on your account.
- If a trip is cancelled by the operator, you will be offered rebooking or a refund in line with operator policy.
7. Acceptable use
- Do not misuse the platform, attempt unauthorised access, or interfere with other users.
- Do not resell tickets in breach of operator rules or applicable law.
- Fraudulent bookings or chargebacks made in bad faith may result in account suspension.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for acts and omissions of operators. Our total liability for platform-related issues is limited to the fees paid to us for the affected booking in the prior twelve months, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
10. Governing law & contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia. Questions about these terms:
